Genocide in Rwanda

The genocide in rwanda lasted from April 6th, 1994 and for the next hundred days. It killed up to 800,000 tutsis were killed by Hutu militia using clubs and matches and with as many as 10,000 killed each day. Among the peacekeepers were ten soldiers from Belgium who were captured by the Hutus, tortured and murdered. Security Council voted to send up to 5,000 soldiers to Rwanda.

Holocaust

I don't think that it effects me because I'm not Jewish nor German so none of my family was killed in the holocaust nor was involved in it. It does effect me mentally tho, because if you think about everything that had happened like how they were killed and how they were tortured it was all done in messed up ways. Like for example in Auschwitz-Birkenau at least 960,000 Jews were killed and other victims such as approximately 74,000 Poles, 21,000 Roma/Gypsies and 15,000 Soviet prisoners of war. Also 10,000-15,000 members of other nationalities such as soviet civilians, Czechs, Yugoslavs, French, Germans, and Austrians were killed as well. Those numbers just can kill someone in side just to think that all the Germans didn't have a very good heart to not kill them. in my opinion i think that if all the Jews had gotten together and formed an alliance they could have stopped Hitler from killing so many people. it would be risking there lives but it would be for something good rather than evil like was Hitler was doing. That's how i feel about it.

hope street goals

My goals are to get good grades and finish school. Im tryen to do good so that my parents will see that i can work hard so that they will let me go back to Shawnee Heights. Im tryen to get my deploma for my son not me i could care less about school but i need to support for my son so i need to do good. Another goal is to get in to massage thearpy school i love to do massages and ive herd that im good at it. I also want to do hair so im gunna try to go to school for that too.
